Taiwan's first Ocular Oncology Centre opens

Former visiting researcher Dr Honda Chou has launched Taiwan's first dedicated Ocular Oncology Centre at Taoyuan Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, which opened on 15 April 2026.

The facility integrates ophthalmology, radiation oncology, pathology and medical physics as a single multidisciplinary team. Dr Chou trained at the UK National Ocular Oncology Centre and now leads specialists in intraocular, orbital and paediatric ocular oncology, with proton beam therapy as a key treatment option.

LOORG warmly congratulates the team and looks forward to continued collaboration.
