2025 was a year of significant international engagement, student mentorship and public outreach for the group.
We welcomed researchers from Taiwan, Ukraine and Germany, hosted secondary-school and university students through a range of placement schemes, and launched the EYE-CAN-AID Trusted Research Environment.
The group presented at major international conferences including the European Society of Pathology congress in Vienna, the PathSoc meeting in Ghent, the World Congress of Melanoma and ARVO in Salt Lake City. We also showcased our research at the British Science Festival with interactive activities, and visited Westminster to discuss digitisation and AI in pathology.
